Eli Ashkenazi

Eli Ashkenazi is a spinal neurosurgeon and the founder of the Israel Spine Center. He directs spinal care at Assuta Medical Center. He has performed over 1,000 surgeries at this institution. Ashkenazi treats complex lumbar and cervical spine diseases.

Specialization and Surgical Focus

The specialist treats various back conditions using surgical and non-invasive methods. He treats herniated disks, spine cysts, and spinal cord tumors. Ashkenazi also performs surgical treatments for scoliosis and laminectomy procedures. Additionally, he uses the TOPS™ System — a mechanical implant that replaces tissues removed during spinal decompression — for patients with spinal stenosis.
