Dr. X is the Director of the Radiation Oncology Unit and holds a Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the School of Medicine of Università La Sapienza, Rome, Italy. He specializes in the application of high-tech radiation oncology treatments such as Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, Stereotactic Radiation Therapy, Adaptive Radiation Therapy, and Brachitherapy. He has a particular focus on optimizing radiation treatments for Upper Gastro-intestinal, Prostate, and Lung cancers. Furthermore he focused his activity on the optimization of radiation treatments by using different imaging techniques for the definition of target volume delineation; integration between radiotherapy and surgery; integration between radiotherapy and chemotherapy. He applied the acquired knowledge especially in Upper Gastro-intestinal, Prostate and Lung cancers.
