Previously Director of the General Surgery Service and the University Hospital of Valencia and the Hospital of Sagunto for a total of 20 years, holds an extraordinary doctorate and is an honorary member of 5 national and international scientific associations, corresponding academician of the Royal Academy of Medicine of the Valencian Community and former president of various scientific associations. Organizer of more than 80 scientific meetings, 217 publications in books and journals, more than 400 presentations in congresses and courses and 600 communications. Pioneer in the implementation in Spain of various colorectal diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. Annual international collaboration at the Vicente Ferrer Foundation as a colorectal surgeon.
