- Dr Michalis Ayiomamitis started his internship in Cardiac Surgery in 2005 and completed his training in 2014 at San Matteo University Hospital in Pavia, one of the largest hospitals in Italy. During his training he achieved the position of Chief Resident and he successfully obtained 2 subspecialties, one in mini-invasive aortic valve surgery and one in heart transplant. Subsequently, he moved to London at St. Georges University Hospital for a fellowship in Adult Cardiac Surgery. Dr Ayiomamitis has an extensive surgical experience, especially focused on the latest techniques.
