Gastroenterologist and clinical researcher in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy and gastroenterology. Graduated from Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. 

Fellow- ship in gastroenterology, MSc Thesis and PhD Thesis, University of Belgrade. Head of GI endoscopy at University Clinic in Belgrade from 2007 to 2012. Assistant Medical Director of the Center of Digestive Endoscopy at the Academic Hospital Center Udine from 2013-2019.

His clinical interest involves therapeutic and interventional endoscopy (colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP), colorectal diseases, chronic pancreatitis, gastrointestinal oncology (hepa- topancreatobiliary and colorectal), endoscopic bariatric procedures (endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty).

His research activities include new therapeutic endoscopy techniques, experimental digestive endoscopy, CRC screening (new endoscopic and laboratory methods), pancreatic carcinogenesis (in vitro models, gene regulation, new genes), molecu- lar markers of pancreatic disease (in pancreatic juice & bile; ras/p53, virus), personalized therapy for obesity and regenerative medicine therapy for gastrointestinal diseases.
