He then pursued advanced training in cardiovascular surgery at Kartal Koşuyolu High Specialization Training and Research Hospital, finishing in 2012.

Dr. Göçer began his career at Batman Regional State Hospital, where he worked from 2012 to 2016 in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. He later joined Özel EMSEY Hospital in 2016, continuing his practice in cardiovascular surgery until 2017. From 2017 to 2022, he served in the same specialty at Özel Medicalpark Göztepe Hospital. In 2022, he moved to Özel Batman Dünya Hospital, where he worked until 2023. Currently, he is practicing at Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital, where he continues to provide specialized care in heart and vascular surgery.
