Born in 1973 in Ankara, Dr. Emel Torun completed high school at TED Ankara College and entered Istanbul University Faculty of Medicinein 1992 . In 1998, she started her residency in Pediatrics at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics and became a specialist in Pediatrics in 2003. Prof. Dr. Hulusi Koçak began his medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1963 and graduated in 1969. He specialized in Pediatric Nephrology and Child Rheumatology Department at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 1969-1973.
