Hi, I'm Cella, and I’m living in Bali, Indonesia. I’d like to share an honest review based on my experience of finding a medical coordinator, a doctor, and a hospital for my case. I was recently diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and stage 4 endometriosis, which required surgery as soon as possible. I was initially hospitalized in Bali, but the doctor there suggested I look for a better-equipped hospital as they didn’t have the necessary facilities to perform my surgery.
It wasn’t easy to find the right care on a small island like Bali. Thankfully, my best friend helped me connect with a medical manager from Bookimed. That’s how we found Alisher, the medical manager and Prof. Dr. A Cem Iyibozkurt from Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul.
We arranged an online consultation with the doctor, which was free of charge, I already have all my medical records and MRI results before an online consultation, I’ve prepared everything to speed up the process. and within a week, they scheduled my laparoscopic robotic surgery. Alisher did an excellent job coordinating everything, and I couldn’t be happier with him. Prof. Dr. Cem Iyibozkurt is an amazing doctor, highly experienced, and well-known for his expertise in the field.
The hospital itself was fantastic—the nurses and staff took great care of me. I’m really grateful for the smooth process, and I highly recommend them to anyone who may be in a similar situation and looking for this kind of care and has similar situation as mine.

Her level of empathy was touching
My request was for a specific treatment for my condition, which I believe was triggered by COVID or vaccine-related complications. The treatment itself is relatively new and not widely available; however, the doctor Faturanız Hazırdır was open to considering my request, which was a decisive factor in choosing this hospital. Her level of empathy was touching.
When I arrived, I received outstanding support from Aliser Durdiyev, who coordinated the entire process — from reception and medication procurement to scheduling the treatment.
None of this would have been possible without Hanna Karvatska, who connected all of us who has deep personal and professional connection with people here, and I’m deeply grateful to her, Alisar, and the doctor for their support and professionalism. We were diagnosed with internal and external hydrocephalus in a newborn. While searching for clinics, I accidentally came across the Bookimed platform. Professor Alaettin Çelik is the founding chairman of the Pediatric Surgery Department at Istanbul University. He holds triple specialization in General Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, and Pediatric Urology. Çelik trains the next generation of pediatric surgeons in Turkey.

Dr. Çelik treats a broad spectrum of surgical conditions in children and infants. His practice includes newborn surgery and pediatric urology. He performs complex procedures such as colectomies, nephrectomies, and esophageal resections. He also treats common pediatric issues including:
