Education and Experience

Dr. Ramazan Gökhan Atış, born in Istanbul in 1978, graduated from Cağaloğlu Anatolian High School in 1996. He completed his medical education at Çapa Faculty of Medicine in 2002. Between 2002 and 2008, he received his specialization training at the Istanbul Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital Department of Urology, and obtained the title of Urology Specialist in February 2008. After working at Edremit Military Hospital between 2008 and 2009, he started working as a Urology specialist at Istanbul Göztepe Training and Research Hospital in 2009. In 2011, he underwent a 3-month Laparoscopy-Robotic Urology training at Heidelberg University Heillbronn Clinic. Between 2009 and 2014, he conducted numerous scientific research studies, especially in the field of endourology, and obtained the title of Associate Professor in September 2014. In 2017, he was elected as a board member of the Endourology Society and has been serving in this position since then. Since 2018, he has been actively involved in the Endourology working group of the European Association of Urology, Young Academic Urologists (EAU-YAU) Committee for a period of 2 years. In January 2021, he was appointed as a Professor at the Istanbul Medeniyet University Department of Urology.After that started working at Şişli Memorial Hospital in 2022. Dr. Zuhal Cakmak Peksen is a Family Medicine Specialist since 2017. She earned her MD from Çukurova University in 2010. She completed specialty training at Yüzüncü Yıl University between 2013 and 2017. She is currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in Health Management at Anadolu University (2024–present).

She has 15 years of clinical practice (2010–2025) across 8 institutions. Her experience includes research in Family Medicine (2013–2017) and work at several Family Health Centers. Since 2020, she has served at TOKİ Avrupa Family Health Center in Gaziosmanpaşa, Istanbul.

Dr. Cagdas Erdogan is a gastroenterologist at Ankara Etlik City Hospital. He trained in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He earned his MD from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency from 2014 to 2019. He then completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at Ankara City Hospital from 2019 to 2022. His clinical focus includes advanced endoscopy (ERCP, EUS, EMR, ESD, POEM, EGD, colonoscopy, double-balloon enteroscopy), inflammatory bowel disease, and hepatology.

He has about 40 publications. His work appears in The Turkish Journal of Gastroenterology, Scientific Reports, Endoscopy, and Digestive Diseases and Sciences. Notable studies address vedolizumab in IBD and prophylaxis for post-ERCP pancreatitis. He also reported a 13-year Crohn’s cohort comparing infliximab and adalimumab. Additional work covers outcomes with an adalimumab biosimilar and innovative endoscopic therapies (MCA via double-balloon enteroscopy, holmium laser for Bouveret syndrome, POEM for Zenker’s diverticulum, and ESD for esophageal papillomatosis).

Dr. Ertuğrul Ercan is a Professor of Cardiology. He completed his training at Ege University and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. His main areas of expertise are interventional cardiology, atherosclerosis, valve diseases, and coronary artery disease. He also focuses on inflammation and coagulation, cardiovascular immunology, and stem cell therapy.

Dr. Ercan has held key academic and administrative positions. He served as Head of Cardiology and Dean at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. He was also the Medical Director at İzmir Medical Point Hospital. He gained international experience at the Cleveland Clinic and in Melbourne, Australia.

He holds the European Cardiologist Diploma and is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. Dr. Ercan is also a member of several national and international cardiology associations and working groups.

Dr. Mustafa Dogdus is a cardiologist who graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine. He has broad experience in treating complex heart conditions. His expertise includes arrhythmias, atrial septal defect (ASD), atrial fibrillation, AVRT, AVNRT, bradycardia, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and structural heart diseases.

He is skilled in advanced interventional procedures. These include ASD, PDA, and VSD closure, EPS-ablation, ICD-CRT-D implantation, and percutaneous coronary and peripheral interventions. Dr. Dogdus worked at Karaman State Hospital and Uşak University Training and Research Hospital cardiology clinics from 2017 to 2022.

He is an active member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, and the Cardiovascular Academy. He also holds board and working group positions in several national and international cardiology organizations.

Dr. Humayun Kakar is a cardiologist. He earned his medical degree from Eskişehir Osmangazi University between 2007 and 2014. He completed his cardiology residency at İzmir Dokuz Eylül University from 2015 to 2020. In 2024, he received advanced training in heart failure at the University of Zurich in Switzerland.

He has worked at İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Medical Point Hospital and Konya Cihanbeyli State Hospital. He also took part in advanced heart failure education at the University of Zurich.

He completed his internal medicine and gastroenterology specialization at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Binicier has over ten years of clinical experience. He has held key positions at SBÜ Tepecik Training and Research Hospital and İzmir Bayraklı City Hospital. He also gained international experience at Korea University.

Dr. Binicier diagnoses and treats a wide range of gastrointestinal diseases. His expertise includes early colon and stomach cancers, inflammatory bowel diseases, liver and pancreatic disorders, and digestive system cancers. Dr. Ugur Taskin is a specialist in interventional cardiology. He treats conditions such as high cholesterol, heart valve diseases, heart failure, and coronary artery disease. He received his medical degree from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.
