Dogan Erdogan

Dr. Dogan Erdogan is a cardiologist and interventional specialist at Medical Park Antalya Hospital Complex. He is the youngest researcher to receive the Science Award at the 12th Bayındır Medical Awards. Dr. Erdogan completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in the USA between 2013 and 2014.

Dr. Erdogan treats cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, and pulmonary hypertension. He performs interventional procedures such as coronary stenting, angioplasty, and TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation). This technique allows for heart valve replacement without open-heart surgery. The doctor treats valve disorders like mitral valve prolapse and aortic insufficiency.

The doctor uses technologies for heart rhythm management and vascular repair. These techniques include radiofrequency ablation with 3D mapping and heart cryoablation for arrhythmias.
