Dr. Binnur Simsek is a gastroenterology specialist. She has experience in liver cirrhosis, portal hypertension, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver transplantation, and viral hepatitis (B, C, Delta). She also treats alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, and inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s colitis.

She completed her medical and gastroenterology training at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. She also served as Educational and Administrative Supervisor at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Boris Pekárek is a gastroenterologist. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Bratislava in 2002. He worked at the Internal Medicine Clinic in Trnava from 2002 to April 2010. He obtained his specialization in gastroenterology in 2008.

Since April 2010, he has worked at the Gastroenterology Department of the National Cancer Institute. He has led the department since 2017. He completed several specialized training courses abroad. He focuses on endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of early tumors of the esophagus, stomach, colon, and rectum.

He served as chair of the Oncology Section of the Slovak Gastroenterological Society from 2018 to 2024. He is the current chair of its Endoscopy Section and a member of the Society’s committee. Dr. Daniela Osuská is a gastroenterologist. She graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, in 2010. Dr. Juraj Letkovsky has been a gastroenterologist at the Gastroenterology Department of the National Cancer Institute (NOÚ) since 2017. He graduated in medicine in 2012 and earned a PhD in internal medicine in 2016. He obtained specialization in gastroenterology in 2018.
