Prof. Baris Akin is a highly esteemed professor of surgery based in Istanbul, Turkey, with a specialization in kidney and pancreas transplantation. He received the 'Young Investigator Award' at the American Transplant Meeting in 2004 and has successfully conducted over 1200 kidney transplantations in Turkey. Prof. Akin has developed a new donor nephrectomy surgical technique and is certified as a transplant surgeon by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
Prof. Salvatore Badalamenti is the Nephrology and Dialysis Unit Director in Humanitas Research Hospital. He has graduated at the Università degli Studi of Milan and is specialised in Medical Nephrology, Liver Diseases and Replacement.

He was also an investigator in three international clinical trials and holds clinical trial auditing and CRO certifications and a GCP Training Certificate from 2016. He is a member in good standing of the Emirates Oncology Society (EOS), the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
