Born in Ankara in 1978, Dr. Umut R. Gündüz began his medical career at the Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.

Later, he became a General Surgery Specialist at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital.

From 2011 onwards, they worked as a General Surgery Specialist at Antalya Training and Research Hospital.

In 2013, I defended my Ph.D. and after a short maternity break, I successfully passed the attestation in 2015.

Work is also my hobby. I follow the latest trends and participate in both domestic and foreign congresses and seminars.

I assess clients individually, I rely on a calm and friendly approach, a thorough case history, the search for connections and a comprehensive view.

In endocrinology, I monitor the state of hormones (chemical messengers) that are produced by the endocrine glands and circulate in the blood to regulate a large number of bodily functions. The disease comes when the production of a particular hormone is too high or too low. Furthermore, the field of endocrinology includes the care of reduced bone density - osteopenia or osteoporosis.

When caring for diabetic patients, the most important thing for a diabetic is to understand what is going on in his/her body and what results a good lifestyle and treatment might bring. Early Life and Education

Born in 1985 in Diyarbakır, Turkey, Hasan Ersöz grew up in a family that deeply valued knowledge and service. His father, Dr. Ekrem Ersöz, was a highly respected urology specialist and served as chief physician at Diyarbakır State Hospital. His mother, an English teacher, ensured a balanced upbringing enriched with both science and language. Inspired by his father's legacy, Hasan knew from a young age that he wanted not just to become a doctor, but a surgeon.

After completing his primary and secondary education in Diyarbakır, he successfully passed the science high school entrance exams and moved to Çanakkale to attend his mother's hometown's prestigious Science High School. Excelling academically, he scored high enough in the university entrance exam to gain admission to Hacettepe University, yet chose to study medicine at Dicle University due to family circumstances.

Medical Training & Inspiration

During his final year at medical school, his father fell seriously ill with lung disease—an event that profoundly influenced his future. Motivated by a personal and idealistic mission, he pursued thoracic surgery, a branch typically not selected by top scorers. He earned a spot in the Dokuz Eylül University Thoracic Surgery Residency in Izmir, the city that would become the center of his life's work.

Residency and Early Practice in Izmir

After five years of intensive surgical training, Dr. Ersöz was appointed to Tepecik Training and Research Hospital. Despite Suat Seren Chest Hospital being the primary center for chest cases, patients with high-risk and complex profiles soon began requesting him. With courage and precision, he operated on numerous high-risk cases that others had turned away.

His success led to a life-changing offer from İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University: to establish a new thoracic surgery department at the city’s oldest hospital, Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. Assoc. Dr. Ali DURMUŞ was born in the Fevzipaşa township of İslahiye, Gaziantep. Because his father worked at Tekel, he started his education at Malatya Derme Primary School and completed it at Adıyaman Atatürk Primary School. When his father was appointed to Amasya Taşova district, he attended secondary school at Taşova Atatürk Secondary School. He finished high school at Gaziantep Kilis High School, ranking 3rd.

Since his uncle was in Çanakkale, he chose Çanakkale Education Institute as a university. Assoc. Prof. Dr. is a teacher. Ali Durmuş was appointed to Yukarı Tutak village in Ağrı's Diyadin district within the scope of compulsory service. After working as a teacher for a period, he took the university exam again.

He was accepted to Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, one of the two medical faculties that taught in English at that time. He completed one year of English preparation and 6 years of medical education without any loss. He was a member of the ski team and basketball team at the university, and also managed social events such as the annual medical ball.

He was assigned to Iskenderun State Hospital in compulsory service. Assoc. Prof. Dr., who served as the emergency manager.
