Dr. Pakize Eker Balcıoğlu is a board-certified general surgeon. She graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine (English program) and completed her residency at Marmara University. She has published many articles in local and international journals. She has also worked as a columnist for two medical publications.
