Prof. Dr. Ayhan Öztürk is a neurologist with over 30 years of experience in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. He is certified by the Medical Specialization Board in Clinical Neurophysiology. He has worked at respected institutions such as Düzce University Faculty of Medicine and Liv Vadi Istanbul.

Dr. Öztürk has published more than 20 scientific papers in international journals. His research focuses on Parkinson’s disease, ALS, MS, epilepsy, migraine, and sleep disorders. He is known for developing new treatments for complex neurodegenerative and movement disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

He is an active member of the Turkish Neurological Society and the Turkish Society of Clinical Electrophysiology. Dr. Öztürk has also mentored many medical professionals. He is recognized as a leader in neurology research and education.

Dr. Specialist Surgeon Rafail Ibayev is an expert in advanced gastrointestinal surgery. He specializes in both laparoscopic and open procedures for diseases of the stomach, intestine, and rectum. Dr. Ibayev is a recognized leader in obesity and metabolic surgery. He has extensive experience in sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and gastric balloon procedures. His patients achieve high success rates in weight management and metabolic health.

Dr. Ibayev is known for his work in minimally invasive surgery. He performs a wide range of laparoscopic operations that help patients recover faster and with less scarring. Dr. Derya Can has been an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Medipol Health Group since 2021. She diagnoses and treats diseases of the skin, hair, nails, and mucosa. Her areas of expertise include eczema, atopic dermatitis, acne, psoriasis, sexually transmitted infections, warts, herpes, shingles, and fungal infections.

Dr. Can manages both benign and malignant skin tumors. She also treats hair and nail disorders, vitiligo, and other common skin conditions. She performs advanced procedures such as hair transplantation and PRP therapy for hair loss.

Dr. İlhami Soykan Barlas was born in the year 1977 in Istanbul Moda. He is graduated from Kadıköy Anadolu High School and Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He was awarded the title of General Surgery Specialist after completing his general surgery specialization in Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital in the year 2008. 

He went to Scotland 2 times in the years 2006-2007 and received advanced laparoscopic education. He awarded with ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey in the year 2009 for his contributions to the establishment of Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital Burn Center and for his related works. 

After completing his compulsory service at Kastamonu İnebolu State Hospital between the years 2009-2011, resigned from his duty at the state owned institutions, returned to Istanbul and started to work in private sector. He has been working as kidney transplant and general surgery specialist in Florence Nightingale group of hospitals since the year 2013. Since the year 2017, he has been serving as academic Doctor Lecturer in Faculty of Medicine of Demiroğlu Science University. He has more than 20 articles published in national and international journals in general surgery and kidney transplant and more than 30 proceedings that are submitted in national and international congresses. 

He also has been the book editor and chapter author on kidney transplant and he also has been chapter author in various surgery books. Dr Soykan Barlas has been awarded the title ‘General Surgery Associate Professor’ in the year 2020. Currently, he has been working within the organization of Medical Park Group of Hospitals .

Spinal neurosurgeon

Dr. Gulsen Kose is a respected pediatric neurologist with over 40 years of experience. She played a key role in developing pediatric neurology in Turkey. In 1993, she helped establish the Pediatric Neurology Department at Ankara Pediatric Health and Hematology Oncology Hospital. Her work set new standards for patient care.

Dr. Kose focuses on neurodegenerative, neurometabolic, and rare acquired neurological diseases. She has special expertise in Autoimmune Encephalitis and SSPE. She is also known for her work with epilepsy, febrile seizures, and cerebral palsy. Her care has improved the lives of thousands of children.

Dr. Kose is a founding member of the Turkish Society of Developmental Pediatric Neurology. She is also active in five major international pediatric neurology societies. As a clinic chief and associate professor, she has influenced clinical protocols and specialist training across the country.

Born in 1982 in Istanbul, Dr. Fatih Can Karaca completed his high school education at Bahçelievler Super High School in 2000 and then entered Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty, graduating in 2006. During his medical training, he was a key player on the faculty's basketball team, winning the 14 March Medical Tournament twice.

In 2007, he began his residency in General Surgery at Istanbul University, developing a keen interest in laparoscopic surgery. He contributed to Turkey's first laparoscopic metabolic surgery for Type 2 diabetes at the Special Metabolic Surgery Clinic in 2009. He continued his education in metabolic surgery at Universal Hospitals’ Taksim German Hospital in 2011 and completed his residency in General Surgery in 2012.

From 2012 to 2014, Dr. Karaca worked as a General Surgery Specialist at Kanuni Sultan Suleyman Training and Research Hospital, followed by a role at a Metabolic Surgery Clinic in Şişli from 2014 to 2017. He gained extensive experience in obesity surgery and the surgical treatment of diabetes during this period. In 2015, he became a lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University, sharing his knowledge and experiences with younger colleagues, and he was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2016 and Associate Professor in 2021.

Dr. Karaca has held various positions as a General Surgery Specialist in different hospitals, where he established obesity clinics and performed numerous successful surgeries. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity (IFSO) and the Turkish Obesity Surgery Association (TOSS).

An avid sports enthusiast, particularly in basketball and soccer, Dr. Karaca encourages his patients to incorporate sports into their lives. He also enjoys chess and nature walks. He is proficient in English, married, and a father of two.

Dr. Karaca has participated in numerous national and international conferences on obesity surgery, where he has presented his findings and experiences. He has published numerous scientific articles in prestigious international journals in the field of obesity surgery.
