After completing his internship, he worked as a physician in a refugee camp (Kampala, Uganda) under the auspices of the Global Youth Movement for Africa (2007). He returned to Hadassah, where he worked in the orthopedic department during his residency.
From 2013 to 2014, he was an attending spine surgeon at the Bronx Hospital (New York). After returning to Israel, he currently works as a spine surgeon in the orthopedic department.
He actively uses robotic equipment and, together with the clinic’s team of doctors, has performed many complex operations to restore the structure of the spinal column.

Participated in various clinical studies in California, Switzerland, and the USA. Teaches at the University of Jerusalem and Cornell Weill University, is a member of the Association of Orthopedists and the Congress of Vertebrologists (Milan). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkam Kömürcü is an experienced orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in orthopedics and traumatology. He has been board-certified by the Turkish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (TOTEK) since 2010. He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2015.
Dr. Kömürcü has strong expertise in hand and upper extremity injuries, spine surgery, sports injuries, pediatric orthopedics, and musculoskeletal tumors. He completed clinical fellowships, including one at the UCLA Spine Center. He has published over 35 international peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His work has made a significant impact on orthopedic literature.
He is an active member of several professional societies, such as the Turkish Spine Society and the Turkish Society of Sports Injuries. Dr. Kömürcü has also held important academic and administrative positions. He has trained many medical students and residents.
Dr. Burak Onvural is a board-certified microsurgeon in orthopedics and traumatology. He has over 17 years of clinical experience. He is known for his skills in treating sports injuries, joint replacements, and minimally invasive procedures such as knee and hip arthroscopy.
Dr. Onvural has worked as an orthopedic doctor for top sports clubs, including Altay FC in the Turkish Premier League. He has performed many successful surgeries, including anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions and stem cell therapies for arthritis. He received international training at the International Trauma Association in Switzerland. He is also accredited by leading orthopedic societies.
