He is an active member of several professional societies, such as the Turkish Spine Society and the Turkish Society of Sports Injuries. Dr. Kömürcü has also held important academic and administrative positions. He has trained many medical students and residents.

Doctor Ron Arbel is an experienced and highly-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and innovative cartilage treatment and regeneration techniques. He is an expert in arthroscopic techniques, stem cells therapy, tendon damage and joint replacements. Dr. Cengiz Sen is an Orthopedics and Traumatology specialist. He has expertise in revision arthroplasty, degenerative joint disease, congenital limb deformities, and pediatric orthopedic disorders. Dr. Sen is skilled in limb lengthening, pseudoarthrosis surgery, and managing periprosthetic infections. He is also a pioneer in using stem cell therapy for orthopedic conditions.

Dr. Sen has published many articles, especially on total knee replacement and infected nonunion. He is a professor at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. He has received the AOTT Oral Presentation Award for his academic and clinical achievements.
