He is certified by the Technion Institute, Haifa, Israel, The Johns Hopkins Hospital and University, Baltimore MD, USA, and Tel Aviv University, Sackler School of Medicine. He is a member of the Israel Medical Association, Israel Urological Association, American Urological Association, and Chairman of the Pediatric Urology Union. Dr. Ben Cchaim Jacob is a urologist with over 30 years of clinical experience. He specializes in pediatric urology and reconstructive surgery. He is skilled in procedures such as nephrectomy, transurethral resection of the bladder, and varicocele embolization.

Dr. Jacob has contributed to the field of pediatric urology. In 2008, he received the Israeli Urological Association prize for the best pediatric urology study on laparoscopic pyeloplasty in children. He has published research in top journals and regularly attends international conferences.

He is a member of the Israel Medical Association, Israel Urological Association, and American Urological Association. He also served as Chairman of the Pediatric Urology Union in Israel. Dr. Jacob received advanced training at the Technion Institute and Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Prof. Haim Matskin is a renowned specialist in onco-urology, urology, and surgery, and heads the Urology Department at Sourasky Medical Center. Dr. Viola Fox is the Chief Physician at the Clinic for Haematology, Oncology, and Palliative Medicine at BKZ Solingen. This clinic is a certified interdisciplinary cancer center. Dr. Fox is a leading expert in drug therapy for tumor diseases in Germany and Europe. She has more than 15 years of experience in this field.

Dr. Séverine Iborra is the Chief Physician of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Städtisches Klinikum Solingen. Her responsibilities include obstetrics, the delivery room, the neonatal unit, and gynecology. The department also includes the Senology/Breast Clinic at the Bergisches Breast Center Solingen, led by Dr. Manuela Seifert.

Dr. Séverine Iborra is originally from France. She began her medical studies at the University of Lyon and later transferred to Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, where she received her medical license in 2007. She earned her doctorate in 2008 for experimental research in molecular oncology. From August 2008 to November 2013, Dr. Iborra worked as a resident at the University Women’s Clinic in Freiburg. After passing her specialist exams in gynecology and obstetrics, she continued her career as a specialist at the same clinic. In November 2015, she moved to RWTH University Hospital Aachen as a senior physician.

At the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. E. Stickeler, Dr. Iborra led the obstetrics department from 2017 to 2019. Since December 2017, she was responsible for organizing education in the department, and in October 2019, she became the Managing Senior Physician and Personnel Senior Physician of the clinic, a position she held until she moved to Solingen.

In addition to her scientific work, with numerous publications and presentations at major gynecological conferences, Dr. Iborra deepened her medical specialties. She obtained certifications in oncological diagnostics and therapy from the Gynecological Oncology Working Group, as well as additional qualifications in Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy (AGCPC), Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery (AGUP), and the Professional Association of Gynecologists (BVF).

In 2019, Dr. Iborra successfully completed further specialization in “Gynecological Oncology” and “Special Obstetrics and Perinatal Medicine.” She is an active member of leading German medical societies in her field, including the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics, the Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy Working Group, and the German Society for Prenatal and Birth Medicine.

• Hysteroscopy and Dilation and Curettage (D&C) for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Removal of abnormal or symptomatic ovarian findings, such as cysts, while preserving the remaining ovary.
• Oophorectomy (removal of ovaries) in cases of abnormalities or preventively when indicated.
• Myomectomy (removal of uterine fibroids) while preserving the uterus.
• Conservative treatment of fibroids: either medication or embolization performed by radiology specialists.
• Hysterectomy with or without removal of the cervix.

Between 2002 and 2008, he received his specialization training at the Istanbul Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital Department of Urology, and obtained the title of Urology Specialist in February 2008. After working at Edremit Military Hospital between 2008 and 2009, he started working as a Urology specialist at Istanbul Göztepe Training and Research Hospital in 2009. In 2011, he underwent a 3-month Laparoscopy-Robotic Urology training at Heidelberg University Heillbronn Clinic. Between 2009 and 2014, he conducted numerous scientific research studies, especially in the field of endourology, and obtained the title of Associate Professor in September 2014. In 2017, he was elected as a board member of the Endourology Society and has been serving in this position since then. Since 2018, he has been actively involved in the Endourology working group of the European Association of Urology, Young Academic Urologists (EAU-YAU) Committee for a period of 2 years. In January 2021, he was appointed as a Professor at the Istanbul Medeniyet University Department of Urology.After that started working at Şişli Memorial Hospital in 2022. He graduated in Medicine at the Malaga University and specialised in Urology at the Carlos Haya Hospital in the same province.

He travelled to the United States in 2012 for a study stay at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York. Specifically, at the Oncology Unit leaded by Dr Karim Touijer.

Years later, he consolidated his training with specialist courses in lower urinary tract surgery, advanced renal surgery, urinary incontinence and pelvic floor surgery, male urology surgery at the Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia and a Master in the Update of Urologic Surgery at the Cardenal Herrera University.

The Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital Urology Unit deals with the study, diagnosis and treatment of the conditions affecting the urinary system, the suprarenal glands and the retroperitoneum of both male and female patients, as well as the male reproductive system.

The team of experts and the nursing team in this Unit have vast expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of the various pathologies treated by this speciality.

We cover all the medical, preventative and surgical aspects in order to offer early detection, an adequate diagnosis and an accurate treatment. Our main objective is to offer the highest quality in humane treatment and scientific knowledge with a clear and decisive vocation of patient service.

The Urology Unit performs its activities at the A&E Unit (helping with any urologic emergency 24 hours a day and 365 days a year) and at the Outpatient Consultations Unit (helping patients with an appointment from Monday to Friday, morning and afternoon)
