He did his doctoral study on the thesis titled “Evaluation of stress distribution of dental implant application in different numbers and designs for single tooth replacement under functional and parafunctional forces by finite element analysis method”.

Since this period, Dr. Baştan has integrated laser-assisted systems into clinical applications in both oral, dental and maxillofacial surgery practice areas and dental implant surgeries, increasing treatment success rates at high levels.
