The doctor graduated from Uludağ University Medical College with a Diploma of Medicine in 1983 and completed a residency in Radiation Oncology at the Center of Oncology & Nuclear Medicine in Istanbul in 1990. A post-doctoral fellowship in Thermoradiotherapy was completed at Thomas Jefferson University from 1990 to 1994. The doctor served as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Uludağ University Medical College from 1994 to 2005 and was the Faculty Accreditation Coordinator from 2001 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2017, the doctor was a Professor and Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Anadolu Medical Center, also serving as Coordinator of Oncological Sciences from 2011 to 2017. Currently, the doctor is the Director of Oncological Sciences at Medicana Bursa Hospital, a position held since 2018.

The doctor is an accomplished educator and researcher in the field of oncology, with extensive teaching experience at USP CEU. The doctor has taught a wide array of subjects including General Medical Pathology, Oral and Maxillofacial Oncology, and Bioethics. As a tutor for medical students and external rotants, the doctor has contributed significantly to the training of future healthcare professionals.

Additionally, the doctor holds the position of Director of postgraduate research in clinical and applied oncology at HM CIOCC USP CEU and is responsible for postgraduate master practices. The doctor has also completed advanced courses at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
