The doctor completed an MD in Internal Medicine at Shyam Shah Medical College and held a Senior Residency in the same department. Following this, the doctor served as Registrar in Medical Oncology at Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital. The doctor completed DNB training in Medical Oncology at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital.

During the Senior Residency, the doctor lectured at the International Winter School of Oncology at AIIMS and presented research on Stomach Cancer at the Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium by the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
