Dr. Stefan W. Czarniecki was born in the USA, where he began his education, which he continued at McGill University in Montreal and at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. In addition to medicine, he studied art history, political science, and physics.

For many years, Dr. Filipek was associated with the Urology Clinic of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, where he worked as a senior assistant and lecturer.
