The whole experience was seamless. The doctors, nurses and interpreter made the process so simple for me.

The food at the hospital wasn’t great. I had said I was vegetarian but there was meat in pretty much all meals.

Everything went more or less as planned, no big issues or problems. They picked me up at the airport, took me to the hospital where I was checked in and taken to my room after my payment. In the hospital I've received 3 meals a day, had a room with a single hospital bed, a sofa, television, wardrobe and toilet for myself. Before the surgery I had blood tests and EKG done, I've also talked to the anesthesiologist and the surgeon before the surgery for a short time, in my opinion the conversation could have been longer to answer some more question. After the surgery I was taken back to my room and received the nurses assistance for the next days. Before I went home I saw the surgeon one last time. All in all it was a good and successful experience, it's not a scam!!! The combined price stayed until the end, everything said was true.

One thing that could be better is the communication with bookimed and also the communication with the hospital. Unfortunately almost until the time of travel some of my questions were not answered and I only had the chance to talk to the surgeon per Video only a few days before surgery, which is not ideal and made me feel really insecure because I could not have my questions answered with enough time before the surgery to feel safe and secure to travel to another country with no companion. I did it anyway because I researched a lot and bookimed seemed authentic, but this was of the things that would have made me cancel the surgery. Also the same goes to the hospital, everything, the translator doesn't stay with you all the time and most of the nurses did not speak English, so there's no way of asking them what are they doing, what are they giving you, why are they taking your blood, etc. The meeting with the doctor was also very fast just a few hours before the surgery, again there was not enough time to have all my questions answered. Going to the surgery the same, the translator was there just for a few minutes, the doctors there didn't talk to me, didn't explain anything to me before giving me anesthesy or anything, they just gave it to me without even saying it and then I woke up when the surgery was over and gladly everything went fine, but that's not OK, the doctors are supposed to walk the patient through every step before surgery to pass a sense of security and calm to the patient. This part of it definitely needs improvement.

Review I am very satisfied with the entire stay. Dr. Murat Yaman did an excellent job—efficient, professional, friendly, and with a great result. The hospital is also very modern and clean. All the nursing staff were incredibly kind and took care of me with affection and attentiveness. I felt well cared for and excellently supported at all times. Dr. Murat Yaman was absolutely fantastic and definitely lives up to his 5-star rating. From the moment I met him through to my final checks, he was extremely thorough, professional and reassuring. What I particularly appreciated was how honest he was throughout the process and how he always gave me realistic expectations rather than making unrealistic promises. I am extremely happy with the results, this has totally changed my life - this man has magic hands! The nurses were also amazing. From the moment I arrived, they were constantly checking in on me and making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. They were incredibly kind, attentive and professional throughout my stay. The level of care was honestly miles apart from what I’ve experienced back home in the UK. The hospital itself was immaculate. At times, it genuinely felt more like I was staying in a hotel than a hospital. My room was lovely, spotlessly clean and private, which made the whole experience much more comfortable and relaxing. My coordinator and translator was also brilliant and made the entire process completely flawless from start to finish. From the private transfers and arrival to my initial meeting with the surgeon to go through the surgery, everything was organised so smoothly. Having someone there to guide me, translate everything clearly and make sure I understood what was happening made such a difference. I genuinely felt like I was in very safe hands throughout the whole experience, and I can’t thank him enough. Overall, I couldn’t fault the care I received. From the surgeon and nursing staff to the hospital facilities, everything exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Dr. Murat Yaman and his team to anyone considering surgery in Istanbul.

Everything was excellent, very high-quality service, a good clinic, and a wonderful doctor. They constantly monitored me, helped me eat and get out of bed after the surgery. The translators were wonderful young women who explained everything very well.

Honestly, I didn't find any negatives. The only thing I didn't like was that the ward was near the reception, and the nurses talked very loudly all night, making it hard to fall asleep.
