Fat Reduction in Turkey: Reviews from Real Patients

My arrival at Istanbul airport was smooth and efficient. I was met and transported to my hotel. My hotel was lovely. Transportation from hotel to hospitals on time and efficient. I met my advocate at international patient area, she had everything under control, all tests lined up and doctor appointments were fabulous. My advocate translated to my language at every appointment. I’m very happy with the service and I felt very “looked after”. My outcome is excellent and I’m so very glad I had the best doctor and best care.

I felt very secure and taken care of through the entire experience. All of my inquiries were answered very promptly by both the bookiemed coordinator, the assistant, and my doctor (Dr. C Altindąg), is very experienced and talked me through what to expect and analyzed my nose very thoroughly. I breath perfectly now after surgery and my nose is a lot straighter (I had a severe deviated septum and other complications from a past surgery that he identified and corrected including a mirgrated graft and a droopy tip). I'm still quite swollen but look forward to seeing final results in a few months.

I was on 29 September 2025 at Lockman hekim clinic for breast and eyelid reduction.All my fears and doubts were in vain. From the very beginning of my enquiry at Bookimed to the last taxi ride to the airport after the procedures, everything went without a single obstacle. Everything went smoothly and smoothly. We arrived very early, we were taken to the clinic and our interpreter Olga was already in touch with us. We were placed in a beautifully decorated room, on the same day all the necessary medical parameters were taken. The doctor clearly explained what would happen and how it would be done. We were in the clinic for 3 days and then to the hotel. It was also clean, beautifully designed, rich breakfast. I recommend Lokman Hekim and Dr Marat Yaman if you want to change your appearance.

Everything was very organised, fast and I didn't even have time to get scared. Special thanks to the interpreter Valeria, she is always there, in touch 24/7. The medical staff of the clinics are attentive and responsive. Without a doubt, I would like to recommend Dr. Gökhan Bacak, he is a true master of his craft.

I had my penile implant surgery at Men’s Health Clinic and the whole process went very smoothly. All the team was good and the organization almost perfect. Most of my questions were answered quickly and precisely. The only negative aspect I want to mention to keep others from having the same exoerience: I lost almost 4cm in length due to some special anatomy reasons, as I understand it and by now I am very happy with my implant but still a bit sad about every cm I lost, especially because nobody had told me before that this will/would/could happen. 5 points because I completely trust the whole team, especially Dr. Mete who was my actual surgeon as I found out and for those of you who are length-lovers, I would recommend some good information gathering beforehand! By now I found out, that the Coloplast implant does NOT grow in lenth, as the AMS does. An important information I had wisehd to have BEFORE.

I am very grateful to all the staff for their attentiveness and prompt assistance. I travelled alone, but I didn't feel lonely, I had support from all sides ☺️ Transfer is super, I didn't even expect that it would be so VIP, the drivers are very well-mannered, attentive, careful driving! The hotel is great, I got even more than положено👍🏼 The interpreter Olga provided all kinds of help, support and was always there for me! 🫶 I had a difficult operation on my nose, but Murat Yaman is a professional and did everything to the maximum and even more, I do not regret that out of all the options I was offered I chose him 🥰 I hope my nose will be beautiful) Thank you so much 😊

I applied to organise a blepharoplasty procedure in July. I was offered several doctors and clinics. There was also an online consultation. After a month in Antalya, I had a consultation with a doctor at the clinic and after the operation. All this time Valeria accompanied me and was in touch with me. I am satisfied with the results. If I need anything else, I will contact only here.

I liked everything overall. Initially, I was very afraid, starting with the flight to another country, the transfer to the hotel and the operation itself. But the calmness and poise of the doctor and his team completely dispelled my doubts. 5 hours after the operation I returned to the hotel. Which is also very good because the hospital ward is the worst for me. Exactly after a week I took off the splint, my nose was still swollen. The nose is proportional to my face. When the swelling goes down it will be smaller

To say that I was shocked by the doctor's approach to treatment is to say nothing. My impressions to you, just do not wish to experience. The operation was agreed in advance counselling and my wishes. The day of the operation came. In the morning I was picked up from the hotel and with an interpreter, I went through all the analyses. On the question when I will have a meeting with the doctor I was told at 9 am then I pointed out that I am allergic to one drug. But they wouldn't give me any medication before the operation without the doctor's consent. When I was already changed clothes for the operation ( I apologise myself in underwear, in an operating gown ) came the doctor and began to explain to me on his hands that it can not be like this, as I want and he sees it all differently. He began to explain to me with his fingers how it will be. Interrupting the interpreter. The interpreter couldn't keep up with the translation. Hurrying me to make a decision. I replied that I couldn't make a decision without seeing any pictures of what was waiting for me. Then after about an hour of dialogue, the doctor corrected the curvature of my nose on the telephoto in front of me and said here's what awaits you and covered the tip of my nose with his hand. Again we heard my refusal, to which I was told there is no time and I have to make a decision. They told me there was no time and I had to make a decision. My wishes were ignored. What was agreed upon before the operation was changed. My wishes were to correct the curvature and to change and reduce the tip of the nose. The result of the operation is that the curvature was not corrected and the septum remained the same. But the cartilage was grown on the side, which I did not ask for at all, and the nose was visually enlarged and the tip was corrected. Now I'm just shocked with my appearance to say the least. Everything was done at the discretion of the doctor. He ignored all my wishes. Putting me in front of the fact. Without showing me a single photo of what's in store for me. Explaining it to me on my fingers.

I am very grateful to the company Bukimed and my coordinators Kristina and Ali, who answered my questions very quickly, did not rush me in anything, were extremely loyal. I could even tell them what was bothering me in life and about my strange doubts, and they accepted them and supported me. This experience is simply incredible, I would recommend it to everyone. The clinic greeted me warmly, I read the contract for 5 hours, no one rushed me (I just translated every line). I went to the clinic for checkups, they immediately organized a transfer upon request, the result is excellent. I did not know what size of breasts I wanted by numbers because I could not imagine how it would be better for me, but my professional doctor understood me by microexpressions and did everything perfectly, she chose the best size for me according to the structure of my breasts. The support of the coordinators, medical staff is also 10/10. To be honest, I thought that I was just a client - who pays, but after the visit I realized that I was wrong - they treated me like a patient, but a person. I did not use the services of a translator, because I liked how we amusingly with the nurses explain what needs to be done by movements and in simple words

I had vaginoplasty including cystocele and rectocele repair, plus perineoplasty with Dr. Esra Cabruk. The surgery took place in a spotless hospital where everything was perfect – from the facilities to the staff. Up to today everything is going very well, and I feel safe in her care. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to both the clinic and Bookimed for the excellent organisation of my operation and the whole trip. From the first contact to the discharge - everything was flawless! I am by nature a terrible panic-stricken person and before the trip I was worried about literally everything. And, of course, a special thanks to Dr Ergin Er for the fulfilment of my dream! I had a breast reduction and lift, and already 2 weeks after the operation I feel like a new person. My shoulders are squared, I feel light inside, and every look in the mirror makes me smile. The result is amazing: the stitches are incredibly thin and neat, you can already see the work of a true professional. I don't even know how he did it, everything is so jewellery! Thank you for this magic. Thank you for a new sense of self. You treat not only the body - you treat the soul. We were brought straight to the hospital after arriving. Good transfer! Olga, our interpreter, met us at the hospital. She was not only an interpreter but also a counsellor on many issues in Istanbul, as it was the first time we had been here. In the evening we took a blood test and in the morning I was operated. I came out of the anaesthesia easily, already in a new image. The doctor was very attentive, both before the operation, during the examination, and after. Service staff, very nice nurses, even though I did not understand them, but smiled doing their job and did not embarrass me. In the hospital I was with my husband only two nights, I felt good and we moved to the hotel (room large, clean with breakfast included!). We went to the dressing. There was always a transfer! Additionally I want to add about Istanbul - it is very interesting and mysterious city fairy tale! Thank you all who supported me from the very beginning of my decision and to the end!
