Surgical:
Sleeve gastrectomy

Weight loss surgeons carry out sleeve gastrectomy laparoscopically. During the procedure through four small incisions (about the size of a pea), the surgeon gets access to the abdominal cavity and removes approximately 80% of the stomach.
Sleeve gastrectomy is an option for patients with the body mass index between 35 and 40 kg/m² and an increased risk of heart diseases, diabetes, and hypertension.
Gastric bypass
The procedure is performed by the creation of a small pouch (0.5-15 mm) in the upper stomach to shrink its size. Surgically one part of the abdomen is isolated for food, but this section still produces gastric juice and enzymes.
Unlike sleeve gastrectomy, the surgeon doesn't remove any part of the stomach.
As a result, gastric bypass restricts the amount of food that can be eaten by well over 90%.
After recovery, the typical patients' results are 65-80% of excess body weight loss.
Also, doctors advise this procedure as a revision surgery after sleeve gastrectomy or gastric plication.

Non-surgical:
Gastric balloon
The gastric balloon is a medical device that is placed temporarily into the stomach to reduce weight. This method is an alternative to surgical one. The stomach balloon limits the amount of food and creates a feeling of fullness.
To perform the procedure, doctors use endoscopy. The balloon in the deflated state establishes through the mouth.
The system consists of a balloon, a placement tube, and a filling system. After placing the balloon into the abdomen, it is filled with saline.
This method helps the balloon to float freely within the stomach. The surgery lasts 20-25 minutes.
The gastric balloon is designed for 6-12 months (according to its type). To remove the device, the surgeon also uses endoscopy. The surgeon pierces the balloon with a needle and removes it with a gastroscope.
After removing the balloon, the effect stays permanent. But the patient can repeat the procedure if necessary.

The whole experience was amazing!! The doctors are very caring and attentive. Some nurses don't speak english but as long as you can use Google Translate you're good.
You are sore, as expected, after the surgery but they give you plenty of painkillers.
All in all this was 10/10 experience and i fully recommend everyone to go to dr. HE clinic for bariatric surgery.

A very good hospital. Very friendly team. Both the nurses, Doctors, the administrators, those cleaning and the drivers. It was so great throughout our stay there. We were treated so nicely by everyone working there. I can't mention all names. But i say a big thank you to you all. Oh Dr HE, very amazing dr i have come across in my life. I want to specifically say thank you and your team for taking care of me before and after the surgery. The surgery went well. I could walk around four hours after the OP. "The doctors and staff deserve the highest praise
The room is not large, the sofa is very small and hard for an accompanying person to sleep very badly. The air conditioner does not work well, my husband bought a fan for me, the windows do not open at all, the screws are twisted, I have not seen this before. But the doctors and staff deserve the highest praise. The people working in the clinic are always polite and attentive. The comfort is poor.
