I went through four surgical procedures, all of them very successful, with Dr. Márcio, who was always attentive and kind during both pre- and post-surgery follow-up. In 2016, I had an orchiectomy; in 2017, I had a breast prosthesis and a curettage of the Adam’s apple area; and in 2025, I underwent sexual reassignment. All the results of my surgeries were functional, incredible aesthetically, with discreet scars that were strategically positioned.

I am deeply grateful to Dr. Márcio Littleton for my sexual reassignment surgery, which was performed on 26/11/2005 in RIO DE JANEIRO. It was a long wait, arranged through my health insurance plan, but it was absolutely worth it. Looking back today, I recognize that this decision truly and positively transformed my life.
The aesthetic result was extremely natural, with a delicate and harmonious appearance—very similar to female anatomy from birth. Beyond the appearance, functionality also brought me security and well-being, which are fundamental aspects of a procedure of this kind. I felt technical care, surgical precision, and respect throughout the entire process.

I've had GCS with Dr. Littleton in Lisbon in May 2024, I've been incredibly pleased with the result and with his care. He's clearly incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. The only downside can be communication at times, personally I did as much as possible via email but whatsapp & instagram are also used for communication which feels odd to me.
Even these reviews on google maps are in an odd place. I think if Dr. Littleton would have his site updated with English/Portuguese translations built in, patient reviews/testamonials, along with changing the default method of communication to be via email & some video call service (zoom/teams/whatever) that'd really help with streamlining communication and would remove the odd feeling of contacting a surgeon over instagram.
That all being said I do want to reiterate I am incredibly thankful to Dr. Littleton and his expertise & team, any difficulty/oddness in communication is well worth it in my opinion.

I have a good experience of surgery with Dr. Marcio Littleton in Lisbon (Hospital de Jesus). There are not a lot of good surgeons to perform Gender Affirmation Surgery (with Jejunum) and Dr. Marcio is one of the best in this field. Surgery day was in May, and after 4 month everything seems normal and sensitive. Recovery is relatively slow, but it's expected if you want to have a GRS. Regular post-operative consultations with Dr. Littleton are excellent.
P.S. Team can be not very fast to response for your 1st letter, but they will answer.

I decided to have my masculinizing mammaplasty at the beginning of this year. I had my sexual reassignment surgery on 20.02.2023 with Dr Márcio Litteton in RJ. Today, a little more than 7 months later, I feel completely fulfilled, both in terms of aesthetics and functionality. I have good lubrication, and that makes everything even closer to a cis vagina. I wholeheartedly recommend the doctor. Up until today, he still follows up with me, and I feel safe every time I need to ask questions—he is always very willing to guide me.

This year, in 2023, I had the courage to achieve one of my biggest dreams (the designation surgery).
From the moment I learned about Dr. Marcio and his technique (jejuno) in 2020, I didn’t have any doubts that it would be him who I would choose to operate when the right time came.
Anyway, the right moment arrived and Dr. Marcio operated on me, and I wasn’t wrong choosing him for such an invasive procedure—one that would set me free from something that didn’t match my essence and the rest of my body.
Today, I’m all proud—I can look at myself in the mirror naked, and I tell myself: “Now I’m complete. I’m Glaucia Aguiar.”
