Computer tomography (CT) at MediSpace in Warsaw, Poland, provides detailed three-dimensional images of internal organs, tissues, blood vessels, and bones. The clinic uses scanners with automatic dose optimization systems to reduce radiation exposure during the exam. Patients can access imaging for various body areas, including the head, chest, abdomen, spine, and sinuses, in a single visit.

Diagnostic Features and Equipment

The clinic uses X-ray technology to create cross-sectional layers of the body. Each scan is performed by electroradiology technicians and interpreted by a radiologist. The equipment automatically adjusts the radiation dose to keep exposure as low as possible for patient safety.

Flexible body areas. Scans are available for the head, spine, sinuses, chest, and abdomen.
Contrast options. Iodine-based contrast is administered intravenously if the radiologist deems it necessary based on symptoms.
Quick scanning. The actual image capture takes only a few seconds to a few minutes.
Short appointment time. The total time in the scanning room is approximately 10–20 minutes, including positioning.
Same-day setting. All examinations are conducted on an outpatient basis.

Preparation and Requirements

Preparation depends on the specific area being examined. For a head scan, no specific preparation is needed. Abdominal scans require fasting for 4–6 hours and drinking approximately one liter of water before the appointment. Detailed instructions are provided during the registration process.

Polish law requires a physician referral for all CT scans. Patients who do not have one can obtain a referral during a consultation at the center. Due to the use of X-rays, these scans are contraindicated during pregnancy, and alternative imaging like ultrasound may be recommended instead.

MediSpace was founded in 2024 by Prof. Dr. Michał Wszoła and Dr. Andrzej Berman as a private outpatient center. It operates two branches in the Ochota and Wola districts of Warsaw. Results and descriptions are typically available within a short time after the procedure is finished.

The urology department treats kidney stones, prostate enlargement, and male genital disorders. Surgeons perform phimosis and short frenulum procedures using minimally invasive techniques.

For urinary incontinence, the clinic uses uroflowmetry. This non-invasive test measures urine flow strength and volume. Results help diagnose voiding disorders. Treatment often includes pelvic floor exercises and urogynecological physiotherapy.

Endocrinology focuses on thyroid health. Specialists manage Hashimoto's disease, Graves-Basedowa, and thyroid nodules. Long-term monitoring plans are available for autoimmune thyroiditis.

Technology and Specialized Programs

MediSpace uses modern diagnostic equipment for low-impact evaluations. Digital X-ray devices deliver necessary imaging with minimal radiation. Other tools include USG, Holter monitoring, and dermatoscopy for non-invasive skin mole checks.

Two programs address complex conditions:

SIBOSpace – a coordinated pathway for Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO).
MediBar – a multidisciplinary obesity program combining diet, psychology, and pharmacotherapy.

Orthopedic patients can receive collagen and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections. These treat musculoskeletal injuries and degenerative joint diseases.

I would like to highly recommend this place for its professional and full-of-empathy approach. The doctor, Michał Wołosiuk, who performed the sigmoidoscopy, was extremely understanding, calm, and empathetic, which meant the examination was carried out almost without pain. The entire staff was very polite and helpful, and the ladies at the reception also deserve praise for their kind and warm service. From the bottom of my heart, I recommend this place. If I ever have to undergo such a test again, I will definitely choose this facility.

This is already my third visit to this facility with Dr. Dahlke-Kubik, and I’m very positively impressed. During my first visit there was a consultation, and during the second and third visits treatment was implemented. After the first procedure, my symptoms completely disappeared. After the second procedure, I’m still in the middle of my treatment, but I’m in good spirits. Dr. Dahlke-Kubik creates a very pleasant atmosphere, has great contact with patients, and the procedure itself is quick and practically problem-free. She is truly a professional, empathetic, and trustworthy specialist. Even though I have the VIP Extended package at Lux Med, for a proctologist I will be going specifically to Medispace. With full confidence, I recommend both Dr. Dahlke-Kubik and the entire facility.

Fantastic, expert and empathetic care during gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Dr Berman explains everything clearly before and after the procedure, and the anesthesiologist and nurses, with care, look after the patient’s comfort and well-being before and after anesthesia. At the Center, I had an endoscopic examination performed by Dr Andrzej Berman. This was my next (second) examination, but for the first time I met a doctor who discussed its results so thoroughly, showing everything in the images and patiently explaining every detail.
