We took our child to be treated after transferring here from another hospital using the 30-baht scheme. Our child had an accident, so we had to see several doctors—from Orthopedics (broken leg) to the doctor who did a tracheotomy (ER room) and the Neurologist (brain bleeding). We were impressed right from the triage right at the 30-baht registration point. Even though at that time they hadn’t yet set up the air-conditioned room in the parking-area area (near the car park), there were lots of people, but we didn’t have to wait as long as we thought.
Our child had to see the doctor continuously, often and very frequently. The nurses in the emergency room are lovely—everyone speaks well and smiles even when it’s very busy. Some days we would line up first and wait to be seen by the doctor; if not, we’d take the child to find somewhere else to wait. The doctors came in quickly and the nurses would call and contact us to keep calling and summoning us. Overall, the different steps are very fast compared with other patients.
However, the waiting time can be very long even when the number of people isn’t that high. Perhaps this part needs a little adjustment in management and coordination.
Overall, this hospital is very good, please.
