I felt like both were done taking exactly what I wanted into account and the overall symmetry at the end for my nostrils was excellent - my nose had been broken and before surgery lack of symmetry was a big issue
I had a really great experience with my doctor and care here. I wanted a very natural looking nose, not to look "doll-like" or like I had a rhinoplasty. Same for lip filler. I felt like both were done taking exactly what I wanted into account and the overall symmetry at the end for my nostrils was excellent - my nose had been broken and before surgery lack of symmetry was a big issue. I believe it required different degrees of cutting for each nostril so I'm very impressed that the end result's symmetry appears less than 1mm different from one another, that's a huge improvement from before. The shape is really nice and I was impressed that after surgery the packing was done in such a way that I was able to breathe through my nose the whole time, even during my recovery.

Terrible surgeon. Will not take the time to speak with you, when he does he knows limited English and is very very rushed. The first time me he gave me results that were so drastic I looked like a pig or someone from who-ville. I had to pay for a second surgery for him to give me my old nose but even worse! (Again super rushed, had zero time to make a decision). Absolutely awful experience. Scary. He refused to even try to fix my nose now for another 6 months. Even though I offered to pay again. Have to date and see friends humiliated with a half finished face. Go to someone with talent and who actually cares. He doesn’t. You are just a number to the surgeons there.

- "My dental work as well as my amazing nose job - natural and perfect
Amazing service and was taken care of by Dr. Ana and the Bookimed team. I booked two services - dental crowns with Dr Ana and rhinoplasty with Dr Deborah at Gilenis. Easy process, and I am so so happy with the results. My new emax crowns and dental work are perfect, Dr Ana did a thorough job and guaranteed the work and did a follow up check with any revisions. Dr Deborah did my rhinoplasty. And I just sent her the biggest thank you note, as I was the most nervous on this procedure. I am at day 8, and my nose swelling is looking better and better everyday AND perfect!!!! I cannot wait to see the final final results, but I am so happy. It is still my nose and natural like I wanted, but so much better. My dorsal hump is gone, and my nostrils and tip are smaller and a little less round. And the profile - that is the biggest positive change immediately! I was on zoom today on day 8, and no one noticed but mentioned how good I looked (exactly what I wanted!). My dental work as well as my amazing nose job - natural and perfect. I plan to refer anyone who needs work done, and go back in a couple weeks for a lip lift as my nose is healing so well.

What kind of support is available if I need assistance or have questions after returning from Mexico?

Many clinics provide ongoing support through virtual consultations or dedicated patient coordinators accessible via phone or email. Ensure you have all necessary contact information before leaving Mexico. This support network is essential for addressing any post-procedure inquiries or concerns.

How can I manage my expectations regarding the outcomes of Liquid Rhinoplasty performed abroad?

Discuss your goals thoroughly with your surgeon during consultations to understand realistic outcomes of Liquid Rhinoplasty. Review before-and-after photos of previous patients treated by your chosen practitioner. Clear communication helps align expectations with achievable results.

Are there any hidden costs associated with having Liquid Rhinoplasty in Mexico, such as travel or accommodation expenses?

While the procedure itself may be cost-effective, additional expenses such as travel, accommodation, and meals need consideration. Some clinics offer packages that include these services; however, verify what's included beforehand. Budgeting for unforeseen expenses ensures a smoother overall experience.

What should I do if I experience complications or dissatisfaction with the results once I'm back home?

If complications arise or you're dissatisfied with the results, contact your surgeon immediately for advice. Many clinics offer virtual follow-ups for international patients to address concerns remotely. In severe cases, seek consultation with a local board-certified plastic surgeon for further evaluation.

Is it safe to travel shortly after undergoing Liquid Rhinoplasty in Mexico?

Traveling shortly after Liquid Rhinoplasty is generally safe due to its minimally invasive nature, but it's recommended to wait at least 24-48 hours post-procedure. This allows time for initial recovery and monitoring of any immediate side effects. Consult with your surgeon about specific travel recommendations based on your individual case.

What are the differences in regulations and standards for cosmetic procedures in Mexico compared to my home country?

Mexico's regulations for cosmetic procedures may differ, with some clinics adhering to international standards set by organizations like ISAPS. It's crucial to research each clinic's adherence to these standards as they can vary widely. Ensure that the clinic maintains high hygiene practices and employs qualified medical professionals.

How can I verify the credentials and experience of the surgeon performing Liquid Rhinoplasty in Mexico?

Check if the surgeon is affiliated with professional organizations like ISAPS or has certifications from recognized medical boards. Request information on their education, training, and experience specifically in Liquid Rhinoplasty. Patient testimonials and before-and-after photos can also provide insight into their expertise.

Are there any follow-up care requirements once I return home after the procedure in Mexico?

Follow-up care for Liquid Rhinoplasty usually involves monitoring for any adverse reactions or dissatisfaction with results. Many clinics offer virtual consultations for international patients to address any concerns post-procedure. Ensure you have contact information for your surgeon in case of questions or complications.

What should I know about the recovery process after Liquid Rhinoplasty, especially when traveling back home?

Recovery from Liquid Rhinoplasty is typically quick, with most patients resuming normal activities within 1-2 days. Mild swelling or bruising may persist for up to a week. Plan your travel back home allowing at least 24-48 hours post-procedure to ensure initial recovery and any immediate concerns are addressed.

Will there be a language barrier when communicating with medical staff in Mexico?

Many clinics catering to international patients in Mexico have English-speaking staff or offer translation services to facilitate communication. It's advisable to confirm language support availability during your initial consultation. Clear communication is vital for understanding procedure details and post-care instructions.

How do I ensure that the clinic and surgeon in Mexico are qualified and reputable?

Verify the surgeon's credentials by checking if they are certified by recognized international bodies such as ISAPS or have training from reputable institutions. Research patient reviews and testimonials, and ensure the clinic follows international safety standards. A reputable clinic should provide clear information about the procedure and post-operative care.

What are the potential risks and complications of getting Liquid Rhinoplasty in Mexico?

Liquid Rhinoplasty carries risks such as bruising, swelling, and asymmetry, similar to other non-surgical procedures. Rare complications include vascular occlusion, which can lead to skin necrosis or vision problems if not promptly addressed.
