How Much Does Orchiectomy Cost in Mexico?

Orchiectomy in Mexico typically costs from $4,000 to $7,000. The final price depends on the surgical technique, such as inguinal or simple, and the clinic category. In the United States, similar procedures cost around $12,000 on average. Patients save around 54% compared to US prices. Fees usually include the surgeon, anesthesia, and a one-night hospital stay.

  • Surgical approach: Laparoscopic or robotic-assisted techniques typically add 20-30% to the base cost.
  • Destination: Major medical hubs for this surgery include Mexicali, Cancún, Tijuana, and Guadalajara.
  • Clinical setting: High-end oncology centers in Cancún often charge more for specialized cancer-related cases.
  • Package level: All-inclusive options in border cities like Mexicali frequently include local transportation.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a specialized oncology center provides significant value for complex cases. For instance, Galenia Hospital is accredited by JCI and the General Health Council. They serve 10,000 international patients annually with board-certified specialists like Dr. Brenda Pastrana. Meanwhile, Hospital de la Familia in Mexicali offers a strategic advantage. It sits steps from the US border, reducing travel costs for North American patients.

Service provided was 1000/10
The staff at the hospital were all attentive to my needs and offered excellent service. Even though sometimes there was a communication barrier, they all provided me with the best treatment possible tending to all my needs. They were empathetic and sympathetic. I would recommend this hospital for any procedure you might need. The comfort level and cleanliness of the rooms was great. The fact that a family member could stay with you while you recover was indeed a nice touch as you need a familiar face during this time. Overall, my experience was superb and I would recommend hospital and doctor with his support staff. Service provided was 1000/10.
