Adem Topaloglu

He entered Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and started his compulsory service in Akçaabat district of Trabzon in 1993. In January 1995, he was admitted to the Hepato-Biliary Surgery service of the Universite Libre Bruxelles Erasmus Hospital in Brussels, Belgium. He started his General Surgery residency in October 1996 and became a General Surgery Specialist in Belgium in 2002 with the thesis "Le Re-do Gastroplastie dans le traitement des complications des Procedure Bariatriques pour Obesité Morbide" (Revision Surgery in the Treatment of Complications of Bariatric Procedures for Morbid Obesity).

He worked in the Hepatobiliary Surgery service of ULB Erasmus Hospital until October 2003, and then in October 2003 he joined Providence Hospital in Neuchatel, Switzerland as Deputy Chief of Surgery Clinic. In March 2004, he was appointed as Chief of Surgery Clinic at Neuchatel Hospital Cadolles Pourtales NHP and played an important role in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Oncologic Surgery, Traumatology, Vascular and Thoracic Surgery and resident training.

He started his career in the private sector by obtaining equivalency in the field of General Surgery at Çukurova University. He is currently serving as a General Surgery Specialist at NPISTANBUL Hospital.
