Cafer Tanriverdi

Prof. Cafer Tanriverdi is an eye surgery specialist who has performed over 20,000 surgical cases. He received the Best Oral Presentation Award in 2019. The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery in the United States granted this honor. He has been actively practicing ophthalmology for 15 years.

Clinical Focus and Expertise

Dr. Tanriverdi treats cataracts and keratoconus. He performs vision correction procedures, including LASIK, ReLEx SMILE, and IntraLase laser eye surgeries. The specialist also performs phacoemulsification with multifocal intraocular lens (IOL) implantation. This procedure replaces the cloudy natural lens with an artificial one to restore clear vision.

For keratoconus patients, he provides corneal cross-linking and corneal ring implantation. These techniques help strengthen the cornea and improve its shape. His diagnostic services include ophthalmoscopy, refractometry, and corneal pachymetry. These tests allow him to examine the back of the eye, measure vision errors, and check corneal thickness.
