Claudiu Manea

Dr. Claudiu Manea, MD, PhD is an otorhinolaryngology specialist and Associate Professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” in Bucharest, with over 20 years of experience in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of complex ENT conditions. He holds a PhD in Medical Sciences and is recognized for his expertise in endoscopic and laser surgery of the nose, paranasal sinuses, skull base, and larynx.

His clinical and academic activity focuses on endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, endoscopic lacrimal duct surgery (dacryocystorhinostomy), endoscopic and microscopic laryngeal surgery (including voice surgery and the resection of benign and malignant laryngeal tumors), as well as the surgical treatment of upper airway obstructions associated with sleep disorders such as snoring and sleep apnea.

Throughout his career, Dr. Manea has completed numerous international training courses in endoscopic nasal, sinus, and skull base surgery in prestigious medical centers in Romania, Italy, and Croatia. He currently serves as Coordinator of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Ponderas Academic Hospital in Bucharest.

Dr. Manea is a founding member of the Romanian Society of Rhinology and a member of both the European Rhinologic Society and the International Rhinologic Society. For his scientific and clinical contributions to the field of ENT surgery, he has received one international and two national awards.
