Dogukan Sokmen

PhD. Sökmen graduated from Eskişehir Kılıçoğlu High

School in 2002 and studied at Istanbul Cerrahpaşa

University Medical School in the same year,

graduating in 2008.

Later, he specialized in urology at Bakırköy Urology

Clinic of Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research

Hospital was the only clinic in Turkey with European

Accreditation (FEBU) accreditation at the time and

was appointed as Urology Specialist in 2014.

Since becoming a specialist, he has actively

participated in trainings and conferences in the fields

of urological oncology, robotic surgery, renal

transplantation and andrology, and has participated in

numerous surgeries with leading professors from

around the world.

In recent years, he has become particularly interested

in “men’s sexual health and sexual aesthetics” and has

been performing surgeries in this area since 2017.He

continues to perform surgeries and research, including

penile enlargement and regenerative treatments for

erectile dysfunction, penile implant implantation,

chronic prostatitis, sexually transmitted diseases, and

chronic pelvic pain syndrome.

PhD. Sökmen has been a member of the European

Association of Urology since 2009. He has also

organized and served as an instructor for many

accredited training courses for the organization.

2021 Ph.D. Sökmen introduces unique andrology

trends in the field of urology with its portfolio of

treatments, patented devices and regenerative

therapies.He is currently conducting scientific research

and patient examinations at the Andro Expertise

Center for Men’s Health and Aesthetics, which was

opened in 2022 with his colleague Dr. Zulfu Sertkaya

with the same vision. He treats patients in his own

clinic and performs surgeries in affiliated hospitals.
