Professor Fitzal is a senior physician at the Vienna General Hospital and the Vienna Medical University, specializing in breast and abdominal surgery. He has extensive experience in individual therapy plans for treating breast cancer, umbilical hernia, inguinal hernia, and gallbladder surgery. He is a certified and certified surgery specialist, and has a Master of Public Health (MBA). He has published 143 publications and authored four books on breast cancer surgery treatment.
Senior Physician at the Department of Breast Surgery and General Surgery at the Vienna General Hospital, Professor Fitzal is an expert in breast and abdominal surgery. His work is distinguished by its special humanity, and close interaction with other specialists, which allows us to draw up the best individual therapy plan and quickly achieve the desired goal. Many years of experience as a professor are traditionally associated with the best Viennese school of world renown, the Vienna General Hospital and the Vienna Medical University. Thanks to his ongoing scientific work at the Vienna General Hospital and the leadership of the working group for breast surgery, Fitzal is always up to date with all the latest research in surgery. Professor Fitzal specializes primarily in three main areas of breast cancer treatment with preserving breast surgery, oncoplasty, breast removal, breast repair, antihormonal therapy, palliative therapy and postoperative aesthetic breast surgery to tighten, increase or decrease.
