Very good advice from the operators of the Bookimed website
Hello. As for the clinic, I can say that it is not bad for its price. We did a PET CT procedure + a doctor's consultation, but the clinic wanted to charge us a separate fee for a doctor's consultation, but we came to an agreement and did not pay anything. The hospital has no good travel connections About 3 times we have been struggling to get a taxi for me and my mother after 6 pm, my mother is 80 years old and she had waited for 2 hours to get a taxi, I spoke with the international office without any help Some areas in the hospital does not have AC They don’t have a real sense of Multidisciplinary meeting My understanding of MDM is that the consultants meet together Take the decision and and pass it to the patient by one of them rather than the patient moves from one consultant to another Without clear outcome

Good equipment, but I would like a better attitude from the medical staff. The clinic is clean, there are comfortable waiting areas and a cafe. I recommend a visit, but you need to be patient.

Mom sent to the clinic for PET CT. Unfortunately, I could not go with her. At the airport, the coordinator Yulduz, the clinic is modern and excellent, near the Merkur hotel is also super. However, on the day of the procedure, it turned out that there is no diagnostic equipment in the clinic itself, so my mother was sent to the laboratory to the machine that the clinic was in control of, everything is fine, but Yulduz did not go with her mother, and my mother spoke on the fingers there, and after a while she phoned Yulduz by telephone for telephone translation. And so on the whole is great.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Heves Surmeli graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2004. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul, between 2005 and 2010. She subsequently completed her subspecialty training in Medical Oncology at the same institution between 2014 and 2017.

Following her training, Dr. Sürmeli served in various hospitals in the fields of Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. From 2017 to 2023, she worked as a Medical Oncology Specialist at the Medical Oncology Clinic of Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital. Between 2023 and 2026, she served as the Administrative and Clinical Director of the same clinic.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sürmeli has authored numerous articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and has delivered scientific presentations at national and international congresses. She has presented research at both national and international scientific meetings and is an active member of several professional medical societies. She has also received various awards in recognition of her academic and clinical contributions.
