Received a specialization in nephrology at the leading public hospitals in Barcelona: Hospital Clinic, Hospital Provincial de Barcelona.
He defended his doctoral dissertation in nephrology in 1995.
Received a research grant from the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán en Médico, covering cardiology and internal medicine, 1993-1995.
Specialist in the Transplant Department of Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, 1995 – 2000.
Leading Specialist of the of Teknon Internal Medicine Department 2004 – 2009. The present head of the department since 2009.
