Qualifications
Mario Carminati has been studying pediatric cardiology and congenital heart disease for over 40 years. He performs over 200 heart surgeries on children and adults each year. Dr. Carminati treats the following conditions: patent ductus arteriosus, septal defects (ventricular and atrial), triad and tetrad of Fallot, aortic stenosis and coarctation.
Under the doctor's guidance, both small children and adults are operated on. Among Dr. Carminati's patients were world-famous stars: actors, athletes and politicians. For example, in 2011, he performed a heart operation on the Milan football club striker Antonio Cassano.
