Advanced Ablation Techniques
Prof. Düx leads the first MRI-guided focused ultrasound (FUS) ablation center in the Rhine-Main region. This technology uses high-intensity sound waves to destroy tumors without making any incisions. These non-surgical procedures help patients avoid surgery and reduce recovery times. As a result, patients access therapy for prostate cancer, bone and liver metastases, and uterine fibroids.
