Dr. Volkan Tugcu is a professor of urology and a leading expert in robotic-assisted urologic surgery. He has performed over 2,500 robotic operations. Dr. Tugcu invented the 'Tugcu Bakirkoy Technique,' which is an important advancement in robotic surgery. He specializes in urooncology, general urology, robotic kidney transplantation, and the treatment of prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers.

He has held senior positions at top hospitals in Istanbul. Dr. Tugcu serves on the Board of Directors of the Turkish Urology Association.
