The doctor is a renowned Israeli neurologist specializing in the treatment of movement disorders and Parkinson’s disease. Graduating from the Medical School at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, further education was pursued at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in the USA.
Currently, the doctor serves as the Director of the Movement Disorders Center at the Department of Neurology at Rambam Medical Center. The focus is on treating severe forms of Parkinson’s disease with innovative methods, including Deep Brain Stimulation.
In 2010, a groundbreaking experiment was conducted using guided imagery to stop tremors in Parkinson’s patients, marking a historic achievement in non-drug treatment.
