The doctor graduated from Istanbul University's Çapa School of Medicine in 1998 and completed a residency in Radiodiagnostics and Interventional Radiology at Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine in 2002. The doctor graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1980 and earned the title of Internist from Çukurova University in 1985. Completing a Gastroenterology fellowship at Marmara University in 1997, the doctor became an Associate Professor at Fırat University in 1989 and a Professor at Abant İzzet Baysal University in 1998.
