Prof. Zvi Cohen is Director of the Neurosurgery Department and the Neuro-Oncology Unit at Sheba Medical Center. He is a neurosurgeon and neuro-oncology expert. He was included in Forbes Israel’s Best Doctors 2025. He leads clinical research on drug therapies for malignant brain tumors. He also founded Sheba’s brain tumor tissue bank.

He is board-certified in neurosurgery. He trained at Tel Aviv University. He completed fellowships in neuroradiology at Beth Israel and in neurosurgical oncology at MD Anderson. His practice covers complex brain, pituitary, spine, and spinal cord tumors. Op. Dr. Faruk Gençoğlu completed his medical faculty career, which he started at Samsun 19 Mayıs University, by joining the academic staff of Istanbul Cerrahpaşa Cardiology Institute in 2015 and receiving his specialization in 2020. The doctor is a leading figure in medical oncology, hematology, and cancer immunotherapy, with a career spanning over four decades. After earning a medical degree from the University of Vienna in the 1970s, the doctor completed specialist training in internal medicine and oncology in the 1980s.

In the 1990s, the doctor was appointed Head of the Clinical Division of Oncology at the Medical University of Vienna, leading Austria's largest oncology department. The 2000s saw the founding of the Comprehensive Cancer Center Vienna, integrating patient care, research, and education.

The doctor served as President of the Central European Cooperative Oncology Group in the 2010s and currently holds positions as Chairman of the Vienna Cancer Center and Medical Director of Wiener Privatklinik’s International Oncology Center.

Prof. Dr. Mert Yilmaz is a board-certified cardiovascular surgeon with more than 30 years of experience. He specializes in both adult and pediatric cardiac surgery. Dr. Yilmaz was among the first in Turkey to perform endovascular repair of abdominal aneurysms. He completed the country’s second case.
