I am a specialist in neurosurgery, a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University, a certified instructor of endoscopic spine surgery. I specialize in surgical treatment of brain and spine diseases, as well as in interventional pain treatment. I completed my specialization training in neurosurgery at the Department of Neurosurgery of the Medical University of Warsaw and at the Department of Neurosurgery of the CMKP in Warsaw. In addition, I deal with interventional pain treatment by performing blockades of the spine, intervertebral joints, ganglia, peripheral nerves under X-ray or ultrasound control, thermolesion as well as implantation of spinal stimulators

Docent Stanisław Kwiek is an eminent specialist in neurosurgery.

Doctor Stanisław Kwiek is a graduate of the Silesian Medical Academy in Katowice. In 1995, he became a first degree specialist in neurosurgery and 3 years later completed his second degree specialisation in neurosurgery and neurotraumatology. In 1997, he was awarded a doctorate in medical sciences. A few years later, he defended his postdoctoral thesis entitled: ‘Determination of predictive factors determining the long-term outcome of patients with vestibular nerve casing operated on with retro-axial access: analyses and observations made on the basis of own surgical experience during operations performed with intraoperative multimodal monitoring of the patient's neurophysiological functions’. The paper was published in 2013 by the publishing house of the Silesian Medical University.
