I graduated in 2002 from Anatolia College (the American College of Thessaloniki) with an “Excellent” overall grade and was admitted to the Medical School of the University of Thessaloniki.
In 2006, I trained at Harvard in the United States in medical research methodology and the biological behavior of cancer cells.
In 2008, I graduated from the School of Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) with a “Very Good” grade.
In 2014, I was awarded the medical specialty title of Dermatology after five years of training abroad.
I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Giessen in Germany, with a dissertation topic: “Rosazea: Psychosoziale Aspekte einer entstellenden Hauterkrankung – Eine Fallkontrollstudie unter Praxisbedingungen in Vergleich zu Menschen mit Muttermalen.”
Conferences – Workshops
I stay continually up-to-date by attending Greek and international conferences and workshops on developments in clinical, interventional, and aesthetic dermatology.
I frequently participate as a trainer or speaker at the conferences of the Hellenic Dermatological and Venereological Society and the Hellenic Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Laser, and Aesthetic Dermatology in the areas where I specialize (autoimmune dermatological diseases, growth factors, dermatologic surgery, etc.).
Publications
In 2022, I published the book Rosacea (Ροδόχρους Νόσος) through iWrite Publications.
I have delivered more than 200 presentations at dermatological conferences and have authored articles in scientific journals.

From 2011 to 2014, I worked at the Max Planck University Clinic in Göttingen, Germany, focusing on the following areas:
- Clinical Dermatology: acne, eczema, autoimmune skin diseases (vitiligo, lupus, scleroderma, etc.), pediatric dermatology, scalp conditions, and more.
- Dermatologic Surgery: removal of skin tumors for medical and cosmetic purposes, skin grafts, blepharoplasty, chronic ulcer treatment, surgical management of hidradenitis suppurativa, and more.
- Dermato-Oncology: diagnosis and treatment of melanoma (both surgical and chemotherapeutic), management of basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, sentinel lymph node biopsy and complete lymph node dissection, etc. I also participated in a clinical trial of Vemurafenib, a drug for metastatic melanoma.
- Aesthetic Dermatology: Botox, hyaluronic acid fillers, removal of skin lesions for cosmetic purposes (surgically and with laser), varicose vein treatment with sclerotherapy and laser, and more.
I was in charge of the Outpatient Clinics for Dermato-Oncology, Aesthetic Dermatology, Venous Diseases, and Laser at the University of Göttingen, and I served as the trainer responsible for new residents.
In 2015, I worked at the Langrock & Paul Polyclinic of Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, and Aesthetic Dermatology in the greater Frankfurt area, concentrating on dermatologic surgery, aesthetic dermatology (treatment of expression wrinkles, blepharoplasty, hyaluronic acid fillers, mesotherapy, lipolysis, laser, etc.), and allergology.
From 2016 to 2023, I worked at the Myskin Clinic of Clinical, Aesthetic, and Interventional Dermatology in Thessaloniki and Naoussa (Imathia).
In 2024, together with my wife, Evangelia Yazitzoglou, we established the Endocrinology and Dermatology Clinic of Thessaloniki, aiming to provide a holistic and comprehensive approach to patient
