I also deal with instrumental stabilization of the spine, insertion of artificial discs, apical-occipital decompression in Chiari syndrome, as well as microvascular decompression in vascular and nervous conflicts (trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm), My scope of interests also includes cranial base surgeries - interdisciplinary endoscopic surgeries with laryngological syndrome, hemangiomas and aneurysms of the brain (ruptured and unruptured, classic and endovascular surgeries - experience unique among neurosurgeons), spinal hemangiomas, endoscopic treatment of hydrocephalus and spinal cysts. In addition, I deal with interventional pain treatment by performing blockades of the spine, intervertebral joints, ganglia, peripheral nerves under X-ray or ultrasound control, thermolesion as well as implantation of spinal stimulators

I am a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, a specialist neurosurgeon. I gained my professional experience in the Neurosurgery Clinic of the MSWiA Hospital in Warsaw, the Neurosurgery Clinic of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw, the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Docent Stanisław Kwiek is an eminent specialist in neurosurgery.

Doctor Stanisław Kwiek is a graduate of the Silesian Medical Academy in Katowice. In 1995, he became a first degree specialist in neurosurgery and 3 years later completed his second degree specialisation in neurosurgery and neurotraumatology. In 1997, he was awarded a doctorate in medical sciences. A few years later, he defended his postdoctoral thesis entitled: ‘Determination of predictive factors determining the long-term outcome of patients with vestibular nerve casing operated on with retro-axial access: analyses and observations made on the basis of own surgical experience during operations performed with intraoperative multimodal monitoring of the patient's neurophysiological functions’.
