Interventional pulmonology programme for complex central airway disease. Includes pre-procedural assessment with CT and bronchoscopy, painless bronchoscopy with biopsy under anaesthesia support, fluorescence bronchoscopy for early lesion detection, thermal and cryoablation, balloon dilation, cryobiopsy and endobronchial tumour resection, and bronchoscopy-guided airway stent placement with individually selected stent type and size for malignant or benign stenosis. Follow-up bronchoscopic review and airway clearance management are scheduled after the procedure. Rigid bronchoscopy and covered metallic stenting for critical tracheal stenosis are part of the department's routine practice.
