Hi just wanted to say that everyone were so welcoming, caring and gentle. It’s my first experience in cosmetic surgery I did low belly fat liposuction and breast reduction, it’s my first time here in Turkey, I came alone but not for a moment I felt alone. The medical team is truly incredible, Dr. Ergin Er and so caring and very attentive through the way he speaks with me, the advice, his honesty, it even made me have more confidence in myself. This intervention was very important for me he is an excellent doctor thank you very much Dr.

Thank you to the amazing women the nurse Merve ❤️who did my drainage lymphatic massage, she came to the hotel to do it, she helped me a looooot she is so gentle, she is the best!! After a liposuction it’s very the best combination to heal after just 1 massage I was feeling so much better I did 5 massage in all because I had to go back home but this massage reduced my oedema so quickly thank you so much.
Thank you very much for the organization, my coordinator Beatriz Ramos was so lovely she helped me a lot sometimes I was so anxious but she always were available for me while answering my questions. My procedure was liposuction to 3 areas - upper belly, lower belly and waist. My initial contact was with Dr Anna Petrikova through Bookimed. I sent my photos to her and spoke with her about possible hospitals in Turkey. She contacted some hospitals for me and came back with the recommended procedure and costs from the hospitals. Firstly mini tummy tuck with liposuction was suggested. I did not want a tummy tuck so asked Anna if she would contact the hospitals again for liposuction only and told her that I was not expecting to have the tummy of a 20 year old (I am 48), just an improvement would be acceptable. Anna came back to me with some choices for liposuction only and some prices. Don’t be afraid to ask as many questions as you want and to take your time with your decision. Anna answered all my questions as quickly as possible and did not pressurise me in any way. She was professional and very helpful at all times. Barbara from the care department at Bookimed suggested some hotels as I wanted to book my own. She came up with an apartment which was only about 10 mins from the hospital that I had decided on which was LIV hospital. I was then allocated a hospital coordinator - Nomonzaya Purevsuren. She was excellent and sorted everything to do with the hospital - taxi transfers to/from airport, accommodation and hospital, all translations with admission staff at the hospital, nurses, anethetist etc and she was in contact with me constantly. She went down to the operating theatre with me and was back at my room after my procedure to answer any questions and make sure everything was ok. I stayed at the hospital overnight and had regular contact with Nomonzaya - it was a bit like having a Personal assistant in a private hospital! I would have been lost without her and she was a great help. My surgeon at LIV hospital was Dr Zeynep Sevim. She was fluent in English and very professional. She answered any questions I had and I felt very comfortable with her - it was actually quite nice to have a female Dr. I was admitted to the hospital in the morning and after blood tests etc were carried out, my procedure was done the same afternoon. Everything went as expected and I was discharged the following afternoon. I went back to Dr Zeyneps clinic the next morning for a check up. The hospital and nursing staff were excellent and looked after me very well and although the nurses did not speak much English, Nomonzaya was always on hand. My husband was with me at the hospital most of the time and there was a pull out sofa bed in my room that he could have slept on if wanted. He was always made to feel welcome and was given food if he was there at meal times. All of this happened only 11 days ago so I am of course feeling a bit sore and bruised. I sent my updated photos to the Dr. this morning and she said that everything was looking good and I should send some more in around 2 weeks. It’s quite a scary thing to have any kind of surgery in a different country to your own but I feel as though I was taken care of very well by everyone at LIV hospital and I can already see the beginnings of my new shape after Dr Zeyneps excellent work!

Later, I was contacted by the Istanbul Aesthetic Center's liaison, who was fluent in English and explained everything in detail. Dr. Ergin Er suggested a full tummy tuck instead of a mini one to give the best result once he examined in person, and I'm glad that I did. I can barely see the stretch marks and haven't seen my stomach this flat in years. The disappointing part was when I couldn't get the vaser liposuction on my arms because there's not much fat to extract. I thought my arms are huge but apparently not fatty. Instead of operating for just money, I appreciated the doctor for his transparency. He mentioned it would only give a 30% difference, and it wouldn't be worth of getting scars. At least knowing it from a professional inspired me to focus my workout on my arms instead if second guessing "what-if" if I never took this route. Hence, my procedure changed but the price stayed the same since it deducted arms but upgraded to a full tummy tuck. From the airport pick up to the post-operation, everything was well-planned. I was well-taken care by the nurses and the drivers as well. As the liaison mentioned the nurses aren't fluent English speakers but that didn't stop me from being taken care of. I'm still recovering but am very hopeful that the result will be better than I expected.

From initial stages of contact with Abdul in Bookimed things went very smoothly. He explained in great detail the procedure, costs, extras included. Extremely efficient. The hotel was of a lower standard than I expected, but clean and food was very good. The surgeon was clear and straight forward and managed my expectations very well given my body shape. Nursing and care staff were exceptionally kind. I had a tummy tuck and liposuction, and results far exceeded my hopes and dreams. I would strongly recommend Bookimed and Dr. Ergin. The transfer, the hotel, the doctor, the nurses; it was all really good! 😊
Honestly, the experience was okay. I have been in Istanbul three times for medical surgery, and this was the one who I liked less. The transfer, the hotel, the doctor, the nurses; it was all really good! 😊The main problem was in the guide we had. She didn’t speak good english, she was always on her phone and acted like we were not there. When we asked questions, she didn’t know the answers. In my older experiences, the organizer/communicator knew EVERYTHING! The were empathetic and were really friendly. They were ready for any type of question. This time, i was really disappointed. Besides that, there was a lack of information. They send us home and they gave us some Basic Information on what to do, but Information abouth the wounds, how to take care of them, or how to take the stitches out; the didn’t say anything. So the experience was good! 👍🏼 but it could have been better.

I liked the clinic. Dr Mustafa is a good specialist. The final results of my operation are not yet visible because it is only the 9th day today, but I like what is emerging). The medical staff is very caring, kind and attentive. The period of stay in the clinic is one day, but I think it is not enough, at least 2 days.
I really liked the assistant and interpreter Akilai. She is very attentive, she will tell you everything, answer your questions, organise trips to the doctor, to the hospital, to procedures, if there are indications, to the airport. She will give coordinates of supermarkets, ATM, order food to the hotel, if necessary. Everything goes much more calmly and confidently with her. A huge thank you to her 🌺
For general strengthening of the body, after the surgery, the doctor referred me to the DISH procedure. I really enjoyed it. I felt like I was revitalised and my head was clearer and I had more energy

I'm still recovering but am very hopeful that the result will be better than I expected
This procedure was on my mind for over 3 years, but I was scared shitless to move forward with it since I've heard a number of unfortunate stories. I had blood clotting issue during pregnancy, so I was extremely worried. Thankfully, Bookimed responded all my questions in a timely manner and with care. Calling me "dear" in every sentence was a bit too much for me, but I knew I was being taken care of. I was mostly surprised that all they needed was my flight info to confirm the appointment, not down payment. That made me feel more at ease to know that it was legitimate. Later, I was contacted by the Istanbul Aesthetic Center's liaison, who was fluent in English and explained everything in detail. Dr. Ergin Er suggested a full tummy tuck instead of a mini one to give the best result once he examined in person, and I'm glad that I did. I can barely see the stretch marks and haven't seen my stomach this flat in years. The disappointing part was when I couldn't get the vaser liposuction on my arms because there's not much fat to extract. I thought my arms are huge but apparently not fatty. Instead of operating for just money, I appreciated the doctor for his transparency. He mentioned it would only give a 30% difference, and it wouldn't be worth of getting scars. At least knowing it from a professional inspired me to focus my workout on my arms instead if second guessing "what-if" if I never took this route. Hence, my procedure changed but the price stayed the same since it deducted arms but upgraded to a full tummy tuck. From the airport pick up to the post-operation, everything was well-planned. I was well-taken care by the nurses and the drivers as well. As the liaison mentioned the nurses aren't fluent English speakers but that didn't stop me from being taken care of. I'm still recovering but am very hopeful that the result will be better than I expected.

Hi just wanted to say that everyone were so welcoming, caring and gentle. It’s my first experience in cosmetic surgery I did low belly fat liposuction and breast reduction, it’s my first time here in Turkey, I came alone but not for a moment I felt alone. Thank you to the amazing women the nurse Merve ❤️who did my drainage lymphatic massage, she came to the hotel to do it, she helped me a looooot she is so gentle, she is the best!! After a liposuction it’s very the best combination to heal after just 1 massage I was feeling so much better I did 5 massage in all because I had to go back home but this massage reduced my oedema so quickly thank you so much.
Thank you very much for the organization, my coordinator Beatriz Ramos was so lovely she helped me a lot sometimes I was so anxious but she always were available for me while answering my questions. Whether with the driver who came to pick me up from the airport, the hotel, the translator Dileke. I recommend this clinic at 100%. ☺️💐

Overall everything is good. I didn’t like the fact that I had to wait a long time for the doctor during appointments. Also, the medical staff hardly speaks English. Only Turkish. Because of this, I could not sleep at night after the operation. Because they didn't understand what I was telling them about my problem. There is also absolute audibility at night between the corridor and the wards. Many thanks to Akilay (my coordinator). A very attentive and sensitive girl. I liked the hotel. Corresponds to the declared status and price. The staff is qualified. Overall the organization is good. Thanks everyone.
