I am glad I chose this clinic, I recommend it to everyone
Everything was perfect. My personal driver met me at the airport and took me to the clinic in a luxury car. At the clinic I was met by the coordinator - interpreter Ismail. He helped me to get registered at the clinic and set preliminary analyses. The next day there was another coordinator - interpreter. She helped me through the remaining procedures before surgery. Many people come with an accompanying family member (mum, sister, husband) I came alone. So my coordinator sat with me in the room after surgery all day until I fully recovered, talking to me.
All the days after the operation, the coordinators came several times a day to ask about my condition and my needs. All the doctors are very nice and attentive. All the staff, nurses, orderlies and other clinic staff are all very caring and nice. The ward is large and spacious. It has a toilet and a shower. There is a cupboard for personal belongings and a TV set. Meals are provided several times a day. The menu differs depending on the operation and some people can make their own diet.
I am glad I chose this clinic, I recommend it to everyone.

I don't know if it could have been improved in any way, so I rate this experience a 10 out of 10
From the beginning the process was adapted to my needs: flight dates and availability.
In only 2 weeks everything was already organised and programmed. The fact that they gave me the planning by days helped a lot, apart from the personalised assistance I received from the coordinator and the dietician. They were able to answer my questions and doubts very quickly and accurately.
They did everything in such a way that it didn't seem complicated at all.
One day I had all the necessary tests, the next day I was operated on, another 3 days in hospital and that was it.
The day of the surgery was a bit tough but the other 3 days were very bearable, with enough painkillers and plenty of saline solution.
The day before the surgery, in the personal interview with the doctor, they gave me as much information as possible and cleared up any doubts, so I already knew beforehand what the process would be.
The hospital staff helped a lot to make my experience a pleasant and positive one.
I don't know if it could have been improved in any way, so I rate this experience a 10 out of 10.

Dr. Pyungtanasup was professional and did an incredible job. I am ecstatic with the results. The nurses were kind, helpful and gentle. The room was clean and comfortable. I found the surgical staff and nurses in operating theatre to be extremely understanding and helpful. I was happy with the surgical procedure but would have liked a little more post-op feedback from the surgeon. Overall, though I was more than satisfied.
Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the treatment which I received from the nursing staff, especially at night, although I subsequently found out that they are very short staffed while not having at least one English speaking nurse on duty day or night.

The medical staff and service staff (cleaning of the ward) wish to be better...the clinic needs a little more review of the process of care of medical staff for patients...at night when the patient before surgery or after surgery should gain strength and rest, begins frequent going to the room...then the temperature to measure, then the pressure, then remembering about the drip to connect the next or remove the forgotten....
Another disadvantage is the proposal-proform with an indication of what services are included in the paid amount, and which are not ... I would like a more specific list...taking into account that the treatment plan has changed, the amount to be paid has also changed, and there is always a question whether it is paid or whether it is necessary to pay additionally...which causes inconvenience and worries "whether you have enough money"....

My arrival at Istanbul airport was smooth and efficient. I was met and transported to my hotel. My hotel was lovely.

Olga has a high level of empathy and desire to really help! Thanks to her, I chose Asklepios Barmbek Clinic in Germany and I have not regretted it one bit! I was operated on by a talented surgeon Ursula Scholz, who performed the operation with jewellery and professionalism. Conditions in the clinic are quite good, the ward has everything you need, the medical staff is very polite, nurses many times after the operation came into the room and asked if I need anything and everything is fine. Special thanks to the International Department of the clinic and my interpreter Lydia, who accompanied me at all stages of preparation for the operation. I would like to note that all questions concerning payment for medical services were discussed in advance and fully corresponded to the initially agreed amount, with the issuance of relevant documents and cheques. Nobody demanded any preliminary money transfers from me before the initial visit to the clinic. The payment was made in the clinic itself. From the beginning the process was adapted to my needs: flight dates and availability.
In only 2 weeks everything was already organised and programmed. The fact that they gave me the planning by days helped a lot, apart from the personalised assistance I received from the coordinator and the dietician. They were able to answer my questions and doubts very quickly and accurately.
They did everything in such a way that it didn't seem complicated at all.
One day I had all the necessary tests, the next day I was operated on, another 3 days in hospital and that was it.
The day of the surgery was a bit tough but the other 3 days were very bearable, with enough painkillers and plenty of saline solution.
The day before the surgery, in the personal interview with the doctor, they gave me as much information as possible and cleared up any doubts, so I already knew beforehand what the process would be.
The hospital staff helped a lot to make my experience a pleasant and positive one.
I don't know if it could have been improved in any way, so I rate this experience a 10 out of 10.

Honest review!!! Had a gastrochecap! I was satisfied with the procedure! Fast, competent, everything was clear and accessible! The price is average (in Germany, for example, the same procedure is three times more expensive 🤷♂️)! The whole procedure lasted 20 minutes under sedation!
