Central Health London is a private multi-specialty clinic in the Marylebone district of London. Dr. Lucy Lord founded it in 1990. The facility now operates across three locations. What started as a dedicated obstetrics practice has grown into a full primary care provider.

Dr. Lucy Lord leads the women's health department. She has over 40 years of experience. Dr. Kenga Sivarajah heads the London obstetrics team and specializes in high-risk pregnancies. The clinic provides integrated maternity care through a coordinated team of obstetricians and midwives. Maternal services include:

Lactation consulting for breastfeeding assessments and milk supply issues
Antenatal classes and structured parent support programs
High-detail pregnancy ultrasound scanning

Pediatric care includes routine check-ups and consultations with specialized pediatricians. The clinic also offers occupational therapy for children and adolescents. Mental Health and Rehabilitation

The clinic runs the Mental Health Safety Net for extended-hours support. This service draws on over 50 psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists. Patients can typically access professional support within 24 to 72 hours.

For rehabilitation, the clinic provides non-surgical physiotherapy. Specialists treat sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, and pelvic floor dysfunction. The team uses several therapeutic approaches:

Clinical pilates and core strengthening

Adults can access psychotherapy through in-person sessions or a secure virtual platform. The clinic also provides specialized sleep treatment. This includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) – the recommended first-choice treatment for sleep disorders.

Central Health London uses the Voluson™ Expert 22 ultrasound system by GE Healthcare. This technology provides high-detail imaging for pregnancy scanning. It allows specialists to monitor fetal development with precision. Other diagnostic needs are met through specialist-led consultations in ENT, plastic surgery, and general practice.

International Patient Services

I have been incredibly impressed with the care I’ve received at Central Health London. The medical care is cutting-edge, and what also makes this practice exceptional to me is how compassionate and genuinely caring it feels. The specialists work closely together as one team, supported by an incredibly efficient admin team. I’ve always felt listened to and treated as a whole person, rather than as a list of symptoms or test results. There is a real sense that the patient comes first. Having experienced other healthcare settings that can sometimes feel more focused on bureaucracy or institutional priorities, I really value the integrity and high ethical standards here. For the first time in my long and difficult journey, I feel I can fully trust my doctors. I am in the hands of an excellent and highly experienced medical team who also genuinely care on a human level. I feel very fortunate to have found Central Health London. I would also like to give special thanks to my GP Dr. Naila Aslam, Dr. Lorna Richards, and Director of Patient Liaison Jemma Bellerose - whose care and support have meant a great deal to me.

My first contact was a phone call I almost didn't make, and an appointment I very nearly cancelled. I had had a deeply difficult experience elsewhere and I was frightened. The person who answered was Jemma Bellrose, Dr Silverson's secretary, and she simply said: trust me, you will be in very good hands with Dr Silverson. She was right. Years later, Jemma is still the person I call, and I say without exaggeration that she probably saved my life. I sometimes call her my London fairy godmother, and I mean it. Kind, attanetive and would always remember all details! Dr Silverson and Dr Brianna Cloke have both given me the kind of care that I can only describe as world class. Nobody rushes. Every question is taken seriously. Every worry I walked in with had disappeared by the time I walked out, simply because someone took the time to listen and explain. Oh and obviously, the practice itself is in a beautiful building and decorated so stylish and elegant! Plus, so many new equipment in other rooms! ,And easy to get to and calm the moment you step inside. If you are nervous, please book. You will be looked after! They are the best in London!

We honestly can’t emphasise how amazing Dr. Sara Hillman has been. We started seeing her at Central Health early in our pregnancy, and we immediately felt supported and safe. She really listened to us and understood my needs completely as an anxious first-time mum. Despite some minor health complications along the way, we felt confident and calm throughout the pregnancy thanks to her. She was so reassuring and warm, and we honestly think she’s the reason we had such a beautiful birth experience. And even though I ended up with a C-section, we still refer to that weekend as magical. I was also really surprised at how easy my recovery has been, which I also think is a huge testament to Dr. Hillman’s surgical skills too. I didn’t really imagine a C-section having such a good outcome so I feel infinitely grateful for that! After hearing so many birth horror stories, we feel really privileged that we had Dr. Hillman as our doctor as she and her team gave us such a smooth and beautiful transition into parenthood. Also she actually caught a complication that was not picked up by the NHS and was able to safely deliver our baby at 37 weeks. We dread to think of what may have happened had she not - so we honestly can’t emphasise enough how glad we are to have chosen her. The rest of the team at Central Health has also been fantastic, kind and professional. The only downside to the clinic is the steep cost and often the prices aren’t mentioned when they offer you a service, so we strongly recommend asking directly how much it costs before agreeing to any additional service e.g. sending off samples to the lab, getting jabs etc. But the fact that we’re 8 weeks into the newborn trenches and already feel excited to do it all over again with Sara and the rest of the team at Central Health is a testament to what a fantastic experience it’s been overall. We genuinely can’t thank them enough!

Also, I had to cancel a previous appointment due to illness (outside of the cancellation window) and he generously offered me another time slot free of charge.

Miss Sivarajah (Kenga) is a global leader in her field. Not only is she a highly experienced clinician, practicing both private and NHS, she is also a published author. Which is why I received the niche and the bespoke care I needed, as a 49 year old female delivering a child after many negative outcomes. This is her speciality, dealing with high risk pregnancies in demographic categories, which require a holistic approach. The education, experience and exposure she has in her leadership role at King's London and the patients she sees privately, provides her superb academic foundations. Most importantly, Kenga was available at the touch of a text, and called me as soon as she could. Having this support and comms from 12 weeks of my pregnancy (my chosen package) was vital because in my case, the NHS pathway offered to me was not sufficient. I received all the additional tests, scans, arranged through her. Example, my local NHS would've only tested me for GDM at 28 weeks, and by testing early, I knew I had diabetes from 20 weeks! She is warm, friendly, approachable and highly respected by patients and all the staff who work with her. I have quite a tricky personality and quite demanding and she handled me very well. She is worth every penny and I know she went above and beyond (the package), eg, after my baby was born with scans and tests, to ensure I was physically fit and the care to ensure we mitigated further risks from pregnancy and birth. Because ultimately she is a doctor, and lives the values of being one.
